A novel circuit structure for a tri-band Wilkinson power divider is proposed that can suppress the harmonic components, and provides the equal power division ratios. It consists of three-section transmission lines, two inductors, and two isolation resistors. Using rigorous even- and odd-mode analysis, the analytical design equations for this proposed power divider are obtained.
In addition, a divider with harmonic suppression and a practical divider with equal power ratio at three arbitrary frequencies have been simulated. The results show that the structure can be effectively used as a power divider for equivalent power division ratio applications.
